Our Incentive Days can be delivered at a range of outdoor venues across the North East and North Weast of England.

Most of these outdoor venues are in close proximity to one of our partner accommodation venues, if you wish to stop for an evening meal or stay overnight or even combine work and plessure by holding an incentive day and stay a second day for a conference, product launch or other work related event.

Here are some examples:

Bolam Lake & Longhirst Hall
Bolam Lake Country Park is situated in the heart of the beautiful Northumberland countryside surrounded by historic landscapes and dramatic views.

The lake can be used for raft building, kayaking, canoeing or for any multi activity outdoor challenges.

12 mile east of Bolam Lake is Longhirst Hall, nestled in rural Northumberland. Longhirst Hall claims to be "the region's most unique Hotel and Conference Centre."

Ashington Lake & Public House 
The QEII Country Park was once part of the largest colliery spoil heap in Europe. It has been beautifully landscaped to include a lake and woodland walks. The lake is a popular place for canoeing, kayaking and raft building. It is also large enough to have a decent length race or to go on an explorer journey around the lake.

There is a public house / restaurant on site which provides facilities.

Rothbury & Cragside Basecamp
Rothbury is a great venue for those eager to explore: fantastic mountain biking and scenic climbing and abseiling at Simonside Crag is to be head here. Navigation and orienteering is outstanding in this remote location. Depending on river levels, even white water kayaking and canoeing is a possibility.
The Trust basecamp offers refurbished accommodation in 18th century building set beautifully within Cragside Estate near Rothbury. Kitchen and Living area are at a good standard, toilet & shower facilities are across the yard in a separate building. The properaty sleeps 16 people in 5 rooms.

Derwent Reservoir & Derwent Manor
The Reservoir offers endless possibilities for all water sports: from raft building competitions to relay canoeing races around the lake. The open areas along side the lake offer plenty of space for archery or team games and paths and minor roads invite to go on a treasure hunt themed orieteering journey by foot or bike.

Beautifully set in 20 acres of countryside and overlooking the Derwent Valley, Derwent Manor Hotel offers the warmest of welcomes. With its country house ambience, elegant decor and professional team, this is an ideal venue for our larger corporate client groups. A choice of 6 conference suites accommodating from 2 to 300 delegates are complimented by professional and friendly service.

North Yorkshire & Barden bunk Barn
Our popular caving venue is the Longchurn Cave System in Selside, North Yorkshire, 80 miles southwest of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Nestled in the shadow of the ancient ruin of Barden Tower, the Bunk Barn consists of two adjoining barns converted into group accommodation sleeping up to 24.
Our corporate clients use this facility as an away day venue, where staff can have some time out, discuss the issues of the day in total privacy and either do some teambuilding activities on site or take the 30 mile drive to our caving venue and rise to the challenge of underground exploration.

Kielder Water and Forest & Leaplish Lodges
Kielder Forest and the reservoir offer an oustanding venue for multi activity challenges and outdoor adventure incentive days. From Canoeing to Ghyll Scrambling, Mountain biking to Orienteering, Archery to Raft Building: it is all possible within close proximity.

Our corporate accommodation venues are the Calvert Trust Kielder or Leaplish Waterside Park and their self catering lodges.

Hadrian's Wall & Hadrian's Lodge
The rich and varied land that stretches from the east to west coast embraces dramatic highlands, rolling countryside and impressive historic sites. With plenty of beautiful venues for climbing and abseiling, raft building, canoeing and navigation exercises as well as (historic) treasure hunts, Hadrian's Wall makes a perfect venue for multi activity day in stunning scenery.

Hadrian Lodge has comfortable and cosy rooms, delicious food and a well stocked bar. Located less than 2 miles from Hadrian's Wall the Lodge is traditionally built in local sandstone it offers excellent accommodation with a great deal of character. (Sleeps 25)

Tyne Green in Hexham & Deneholme
Tyne Green became a designated Country Park in 1982, and its facilities have improved dramatically it now has public toilets. The park has picturesque views of the River Tyne, which runs alongside of the park. The Tyne Green is a popular venue for our raft building, canoeing and kayaking sessions.

For day activities only, we can arrange access to shower facilities in Heham Leisure Centre.

Deneholme is an Edwardian country house set in five acres of grounds, located on the edge of Allendale Town 20 minutes from Hexham. Deneholme is a beautiful, peaceful and well-equipped venue for conferences, training and workshops and is also famous for Christine's delicious home cooked lunches and 3 course dinners. (Sleeps 28)

Otterburn & Otterburn Hall Hotel
Otterburn offers magnificient grounds where we can offer raft building, canoeing, archery and orienteering as well as a small Tyrolean Traverse on site. A low ropes course is already in place and a high ropes course is currently under construction. (Estimated finishing time is spring 2009)

For conferences or meetings Otterburn Hall is ideal. Varying sized suites provide the perfect class room for any educational activity (up to 70 persons) plus plenary sessions (up to 200 persons).

The Lake District
The Lakes offer endless possibilities for our adventurous Incentive Days: they literally are what we call an "Adventure Playground".
We can offer multi-day adventure incl. Mountain Walking, Canoeing Journeys, Kayaking, Raft Building, Climbing, Abseiling, Archery, Ghyll Scrambling, Gorge Walking and also Mini Expeditions into the hills and sleeping under canvas before returning to the comforts of a hotel or youth hostel.
